Busy is not a business model.
A full calendar can hide an empty pipeline.
Send the deck. Rewrite the homepage. Test another tool. There’s always a respectable way to avoid the difficult thing.
Usually, it’s a conversation.
Someone who might buy. Someone who stopped buying. Someone who tried the product and didn’t come back.
These conversations are uncomfortable because they can ruin a perfectly good plan.
They’re also useful for exactly that reason.
Before opening your inbox tomorrow, write down one result that would change the business. A paid pilot. A customer renewal. An answer to the question that’s been holding up a decision.
Then ask what has to happen next. Be specific enough that you could do it before lunch.
If it’s a customer call, book it. If it’s a prototype, make the smallest one that answers the question.
The rest can wait an hour.
A business doesn’t get stronger because its founder ends the day exhausted. It gets stronger when a customer gets enough value to come back.
Make room for the work that makes that happen.
